You can put the grease on the terminals and posts it’s shown in the how to video by AGS manufacturer

I need help, its difficult to unplug the cables off my car battery after applying these new washer on, after a week or two of use, when I applied these on, is this normal?

You know when you reinstall cables positive first, not like you show. Pouring bicarbonate on battery like you did is not recommended.
