Just stumbled in. Got an 18 hatchback Impreza. Going to install Megan EZII coilovers. Unfortunately having to do it by necessity, front strut bearings keep going out, might as well sport it up some lol. Seriously though, thank you for this video. I'll be browsing around on your channel to see other Impreza shenanigans i might go with next.

I’m planning to do the same thing with my 2020 Subaru Impreza sedan, but what size rims do you have? I have avid 1 20 glossy black 18 x 8.5 on my car right now looks aggressive enough but I also am concerned about the rear because they’re rubbing so I don’t know if I have to change the lower arm bar in the rear

Hey Dom. Thanks for the videos! I have a 17 Impreza Hatchback on H&R drop springs but am thinking of going the coilover route. I believe you've had them in for a bit now, how do you like them? I'm from NJ but now live in FL so the roads aren't too bad. I just really don't want to sacrifice ride quality just for looks. I appreciate your input.

There are certain things where quality isn’t really that important, but suspension isn’t one of them. It’s very important. I heard BC was a good brand, so I pulled the trigger on those.

@@DomFillari Basically they are an upgrade to the springs that the BC Racing coils come with. Swift springs offer "a noticeable increase in traction, smoother weight transfer, better ride quality, lower tire temperatures, and a more predictable feel".

No into the lowering thing but now I know how to replace struts.. thanks brother 👍 question will this effect the service contract? You know how Subaru works they will blame any suspension or front end issues on this!!! Either way well done 👍 watch jacking the car you should be using pinch weld protectors.. safest jack points are front cross member or rear differential.. just a thought bud . Thanks for the education. Saving a ton of cash cause of you brother

I couldn't get someone to help me take out the rear suspension so I used a smaller jack amd placed it on the leveled part behind the brake and it pressed the rear suspension and was able to remove easily. Just a FYI for anyone having that issue.

Yeah obviously if you have the right front stock strut still on, you’re gonna be fighting the swaybar. If you know how a sway bar works then it would be obvious
