I'm not a professional, just an occasional DIY-er, but that concrete bedding seems very thin to me. I think that if it's along a driveway, then it's best to make it withstand the weight of a vehicle if one accidentally backs on it or something.

You may be right. I did have a couple big trucks drive on a few and got them moving. I will have to redo a few come next Summer. Thanks for watching and supporting ✊🏼

How’s it holding up?

Sorry, just found your comment in my “held for review” folder. It’s holding up great! I am in PA, so it’s been through 2 Winters now and this one has been a big test with very cold temps and lots of snow. But these are natural stones and it’s almost impossible to break or get damaged. The one thing I would have reconsidered is making them flush with the blacktop, it’s a pain when shoveling as I have to pick up snow instead of just pushing to the sides. Also, since I have mine raised there were a couple of times when a trailer backed into them and moved them causing the joints to crack. I intend to top off my driveway, so to make them flush. Thanks for watching and supporting ✊🏼
