Here we are working on the Holden RC Colorado again and swapping out the standard Colorado slave cylinder with a Holden Jackaroo slave cylinder. We are also removing the clutch line dampener and install a bypass hose from Sydney 4x4.

Did you need to seal where the slave cylinder goes on with anything?

Is this done for clutch feel or do the dampers tend to fail?

Generally the clutch slave itself fails, not the dampener. But removing the dampener does help with clutch feel yes.

Hey mate. I love it. I much prefer to feel the grip of the clutch, especially when taking off. This helps to do that and should also help not produce more hotspots on the flywheel.

@@AutomotiveActionMedia Awesome, I just ordered mine. I installed a brand new NPC heavy duty clutch 8000kms ago and I'm having a real crap time when taking up, especially when everything is still cold as it shudders like crazy so I'm hoping this helps a bit 🤞

@@ThePierreBotha very nice! If you're shuddering on take off I'd say ypu would already have hot spots on the flywheel. Installing this should atleast prevent any more coming up. Otherwise, your shudder may be coming from bad tailshaft angle, that only happens when the car is lifted though.

how do you feel when you step on the clutch? Do you feel some vibration on the clutch pedal?

For memory at first there was a very minor vibration. But I completely forgot about that as I don't feel it/notice it anymore.

Awesome mate! Good question as I knew I forgot to put something in the video! I used dot for Castro brake fluid. And I used nearly 2 bottles once it was fully bleed through!
