How to install DEKTITE flashings on metal roofs correctly part 1

Laying a new metal roof is easy..
Until you have to cut holes in it for pipes etc.
So, how do you flash small roof penetrations correctly?

Why not put a capillary cut behind the dektite in corro ?

Not a good idea to place a pipe (and Dektite) on a lap in a corrugated roof. The lap drainage system is different on a corrugated roof compared with a 'Kliplok' type roof. Any penetration on a lap on a corrugated roof should be 'trayed' and the Dektite installed on the tray.
