Why in the ECS video do they pull the dog bone mount out? You didn't do that? And does the motor move when you pull that bolt out? I have a 2.5L also 08 Rabbit. Thanks for the vid!

Good tip about the grease they have a a grease made for rubber. Or mabey graphite would work

I would say GTI, with tune and few mods you'll be moving. BMWs are expensive to maintain most people find this out the hard way.

Did he respond? I installed the insert but car vibrates a lot when its parked or in reverse. It's an intense humming sound that I was not expecting.

Thats whats increase engine vibration and little bit more noise to the cabin, Engine wise keeps engine stiff with less wheel hop more torque availability

The factory could be good it all depends on your vehicles history. I changed mine for the chance of it being needed to be replaced. Thank you for the view and comment god bless.

Great video but I feel obliged to point out that using a 1/4 drive torque wrench set to "74" is only 74in/lb not ft/lb. You under torqued it by a factor of 12😳
