Hello mentor, i just wanted to ask this; do you use another signal cable running from say a universay twin lnb to the secondary decoder incase of model 5s en 4u, or the secondary decorder gets signal from the model 5s after establishing d heartbeat using the diplexer?

I'm also stuck.i was trying to configure XtraView but the secondary decoder doesn't receive the heartbeat.Did you finally got the way out on how to do it???

Your decoder with RFIn/out is your primary... then use diplex connector to split the universal cable to the 2nd decoder... satellite to secondary decoder and

And cable to “RF IN” on primary decoder. Scan both decoders on universal cable and call DSTV to send the signal.

Remember ... no heartbeat is required when you are using the latest decoders and have a Smart LNB installed

in that case you will use only one diplexer, on the antenna you will run the heartbeat straight to the RF out on the secondary decoder

Something is not first you didn't mention what kind of lnb needs to be used and you are saying the other cable will go here which cable and according to your explanation the old decoder will stay without cable but thank you for your assistance

Twin smart lnb one cable go in to diplexer splitting through the old decoder and the other cable from the lnb goes in to the decoder so the new decoder will be primary this how I have done my one
