How to install E-Track

We wanted to make this video to show our customers and anyone else some tips on how to install E-Track on and enclosed/cargo trailer. In the video will be several things pointed out that all come together that once the E-Track is installed it stays that way. We used a Rock Solid cargo trailer that may have different wall spacing than other brands. There are some brands that use 24" wall spacing on the wall post rather than 16". The same method that is used on the wall can be applied to the floor as well.

Is the "wall post" similar to studs in a house? What are the dimensions and orientation of those posts. What are the heights used for the e-tracks? It appears you cut those vertical wood strips to make the track flush with the wall. Is the location of those strips the same as the posts I asked about above? I really want to understand and duplicate what you have done in my 26 footer. I too want to know the length of the backer board screws. Thanks!

This is an extremely helpful video. I am getting ready to install two 8' strips of e track and need to cut them down by 2" and I'm wondering if you have any suggestions on best way to cut the e track. Thank you so much. Liked and subbed!

How long are the backer board screws that go into the plywood? Thanks for the video!

I would recommend the smallest possible backer board screw they offer. He mentions the self-tapping screw to not exceed 1-1/4", your Hardie backer screw will be subject to this same measurement.

Hi, your e tracks look awesome!! this week I planin to install e-tracks in my 34 'enclosed cargo trailer. I need your help to know what's tipe screw used in wall and floor. Not sure but this screw works? # 14 1-1 / 4 (wall) # 14 2in (floor) thanks for your help
