How to Install everydrop® Water and Ice Filter 3 EDR3RXD1

How to install or replace everydrop® Filter 3 (EDR3RXD1) for 6 months of clean, fresh tasting water.
Find the correct filter for your refrigerator at everydropwater.com.
The filter housing for everydrop® Filter 3 is located in the base of the refrigerator. Press the button to pop out the old filter. Take the new filter and remove its plastic tip. Transfer the bottom cap from the old filter to the new one. Slide in the new filter until you can hear it click. Flush the dispenser and you'll be ready for 6 more months of clean, fresh tasting ice and water.

Help, the filter doesn't click into place like it usually does.. and the eject button is all the way out even without any filter in, is something broken? (I'm using a brand new everydrop filter 3, as always). Any help would be much appreciated!

It doesn’t talk about the 4 gallons of water one has to run thru the filter by the tiny water stream on the refrigerator door. Is there another way?

I didn’t do that, and now the water tastes like rubber. Can’t get the taste to go away. 60 bucks for a filter, I’m done.

Hi...I only have Ice on my fridge that uses this filter. How do I flush it?

I'd imagine having to dump the ice several times, but I'm just guessing.
