How to install F1 Rain light || BMW M140i F20 || DIY Tutorial || Ali express

Quick DIY Tutorial on how to wire up and install a F1 Rainlight onto the diffuser of a BMW M140i / f20 / 1 series etc.
I purchased this from Ali express - tbh they're all the same so just search up for an F1 light on there. Just make sure you waterproof seal the edges.
Note: I ran out of solder. so only connected by twisting the wires and taped it up temporarily - off camera I went back and soldered the connections. You can either do the same, or use some T connector clips.

hi, fitted mine today, a cartek static one to my f21, unsure if wired the live to brake light wire though, tried to black wire with grey stripe as advised first, didnt light up at all, so wired to grey wire with black stripe now it is lit up all the time when running, i want it to just come on when pressing brake pedal, can you advise on this please?

Yes, you just have to connect the wires to your break light connectors

brake light is easy and convenient to install without refitting the circuit. Wiring: connect the yellow line to the brake strobe (+), the red line to the taillight or ACC(+), and the black line to the negative-).

Hi! Top video thank you I installed the same light on my car, when I turn on the ignition without turning on the engine, it works Niquel, on the other hand as soon as I turn on the engine, it works during braking and then nothing... you don't know how I could fix this?

You didn't show much of the finish product! I was expecting foot on and off the brake pedal numerous times and a night video shot! Disappointed!

If you watched the video, you'll know it wasn't connected to the brakes, so brake pedal on or off wouldn't have made a difference. But TY for the feedback 🙌🏼
