Hey Lincy, The pixel will still be active. However, you should have a business manager and connect their ad account to your BM.

Thanks for the highly instructive tutorial. I followed your instructions step by step to the letter. But, when I insert my URL and press the Send Test Traffic button to verify that the pixel is working correctly, I still get the No activity yet message with the red dot showing in front, even though my website opens in a new tab. The ad blocker is turned off. I've been trying for the past 10 or 15 minutes. Should I wait longer for it to work? Am I doing anything wrong?

Hi Tim, There are other methods, however, this is the simplest. I would still back up your website and give it a go. Unless you have a developer that can support you through another method. Minimising plugins were you can is ideal.

Won't work for me. I followed ever step they gave me, but when I go to send traffic to make sure it's working, it always fails. Even tho the plugin in WordPress says I'm connected to Facebook. EDIT: Having Ad block active when you visit your site will cause verification to fail. You have to disable AdBlock for it to work.
