Thank you for the guide. Just done mine. Footwell lights only. Already had door handle leds done from before as well. Love it. Couldn't have done it without your video 🎉

do you plan to try to have keyless entry on the rear door handles as well? I know they're on the front door handles but I'm thinking about adding the front wiring on the rear, haven't looked into it yet though

Do they stay on while driving? Id like to get some oem white and turn on and off with the head liner light. They should have those lights factory.

The model in Australian and France have it. But not the USA model. The Rav4 Prime has it. On another note. The lights only come on when the headlights are on. During the day time they are not ON.

Hi, thanks for great video. I just want to additionally ask: I have Suzuki Swace which is a Corolla Touring Sports Hybrid 1.8, MY23 Europe version - how the lights are working there? When you open the door and motor is switched off, LED lights with 100% brightness and when you start motor and switch to Drive, then they Dim to ca. 40% of brightness? And during the day they are switched off? Or can I turn it off somehow via infotainment? E.g. manually switch on the day mode? One additional questions: I saw on Ali that they are connecting the cables under the steering wheel with connector for steering wheel's buttons, but you have connected it other way.. Why? Is there any difference? Many thanks for your answers!

@Carrotmanxxl. Thanks a lot. Well in the US model it is a touch diferent. so I connected my Ambient lights to the connector for the light that is under the steering wheel. The light only come on with the headlight are on. they are not on during the day. but you can manually turn them on with the light switch. You cannot make any changes to it through the infotaiment system. each car that are made from different regions have slitlly diferent way that they lights are made that is why I had to connet mine this way. I have another questions. Do you car has power lift gate, Center arm rest, and is the climate control unit has Blue lights?

Many thanks for your answer. I have heard that it is possible to connect it also to the wireless charger light connector directly. It should be the easiest way (at least Corolla TS Europe version E210) but I have no clue how to do it. Would be interesting to know that. And with thst way it should be possible to turn it off via Infotainment. When you open the door - it lights with full brightness, when you switch to D, it will dim to 40% light. Regarding your questions: 1. Center arm rest: Yes 2. Power liftgate: No 3. Light is mainly white, also the built-in ambient light for charger and door handles is white.

@@carrotmanxxl This would not be a bad idea. but I am not sure what the the connector looks like. Plus my wireless charger is usless. It never work. it just make the phone HOT. I will replace it soon too. I might have to take it apart and see. but Yes the liights for my GR corolla are all white. I dont like it at all that is why I have another video that I changed all of my Door buttons to blue. I am currently looking for the IMT/ ODO trip/Center console with Ice Blue LED lgiths. once I find it I will be very happy. if you know of any Toyota that has those button and they are Ice Blue please let me know.

They actually have a kit that you can open the rear hatch just by holding the unlock button are you planning to do that. I'm planning on getting it soon I'm in Pennsylvania maybe we can link up shoot a video how to install

Also what's the part number, I noticed mine doesn't have the plastic piece on the passenger side. I'm looking to do the same thing but I'm going to go with white. I like the blue loved it on my 2021 XSE. What I don't get is on my XSE all the buttons lit up blue on the GR it's just only the driver window button. I just don't want to change the button so I'm just going to go with white

Mine didn’t come with the cover neither. I had to purchase directly from Toyota. I also have a video on it. Here it is. kzbin.infoq-x6o_vcosg?si=F1_8OrwWik8jmbZX I understand. For me I love blue so I had to change the buttons. I want my car to be different. I have heard that the buttons does not light 💡 up. In the regular Corolla or even the regular GR. It only lights up on the Circuit the SXE or higher But you can buy the Lights up buttons if you want them. I am very happy with my blue color.

Why does the factory offer the slot for it but doesn’t give you the actual light itself?! 🤔 ALL GR trims are missing these?

Because the use pars from a SXE Toyota Corolla that come with ambient lights and the one in Europe already have all this available. But it’s not available in the US market.

@@tylercass3064 as far as I know there are 3 diferent color. you got deep blue. or light blue and then there is also white. I am not aware of any other color. you can do a couple searches to see if you find something.

Did you order the regular blue or ice blue door handles? I want the handle and seat lights to match. It says ice blue for the floor lights, the online pic shows both colors lol but they look darker in your video
