I had to use a cutting wheel on my grinder to expose the bar to attach the VISE GRIPS...but thanks for the help! FIrst one took an hour because i figured out I had to remove the air filter housing to get to the top nut...but the 2nd one took 10 mins, not counting taking off and putting the tire back on...BOOM!

Awesome vid thanks for the info. Was wondering why you didn't undo the top bolt first, wouldn't the bottom bolts keep everything else in place so you wouldn't have to cut away the shielding?

if you have stock shocks on it you can use a c clamp to put around the top shock to hold it in place

Those are not channel locks, they are vise grips. It's not the most intelligent thing to use a crescent wrench on really tight nuts. Also the nuts on the bottom should be held with a 13mm wrench, or a socket with a breaker bar. The proper tools will save rounding off bolts and nuts , which cause more serious troubles.
