700 fucking quid to rent a petrol driver 6000 quid to buy one. It's only a poxy high torque gear box on a 5hp motor.

The longer the pole you use, the more leverage you'd have.

What beautiful stoneless soil you have. These ground screws are horrendous, don't bother with them.

Hi Mary, I'm sorry that you're not a fan of the ground screw system. I checked our records and can't find an order under your name, perhaps you used a different supplier. Ground screws work in all soil types including ground with stones and tree roots. The trick is to use one of our SDS drill bits to pilot down. This will remove and break up obstructions in the way. We also supply longer handlebars for extra leverage, along with electric installation machines for larger installation jobs. Even with a few stones in the ground, this is a far easier job than digging out and filling with concrete! 😁

Wrong. Do you need to drill a hole through the rock with then add gravel then screw in the ground screw… still better than over digging to remove obstacles

@@sipsgroundscrews7479 I didn't buy your screws, they were from a different supplier and my name isn't really Mary Haddock (obviously). I did eventually get them in but I was utterly exhausted when finished. Digging the holes and concreting in would have been much easier in my case. An industrial drill might make a difference getting through rocks but access to it with big machines was impractical.
