The nice thing about old trucks...everything is simple.

Very cool. You're going to be so proud driving this thing around, and rightly so.

I’ve had it on a couple test drives and it puts a smile on my face 😁

Next time try putting the nut back on and tap it as you pull on the wheel...Much like removing a small engine(lawnmower type) flywheel.....Is there a separate module for the interment wipers?? Id like to up grade my 87'
@6thGearGarage3 ай бұрын
The 84-88 do have a module for intermittent wipers. It’s a green box under the driver side dash.

My 83 had intermittent wipers, after being submerged it does not anymore and I have no idea why lol
@MiniLuv-19844 ай бұрын
They are no longer intermittent because they no longer work at all, or they came good after being submerged in water?
@6thGearGarage3 ай бұрын
I don't know about the 79-83, but on 84+ there is a separate wiper relay up under the dash for intermittent wipers - a green plastic box. If 83 has it, I would think that could have seen some water.

Oof, might not want to display the key on the internet... not that it matters of course as a flat head screwdriver will probably start it..

Yeah I can't imagine these old trucks are a challenge to steal. Once the keys start to get worn, they will often work in other trucks. I locked my keys in one of my trucks once and another truck's keys opened the door.
