Great video! What was used to finish the 10mm gap by the patio doors once finished? As assume you won't have fitted skirting there!

Hi mate just came across your comment and seen noone had replied to you so thought I would reach out lol. There's a few different options for finishing explanation gap against doors. You can get a colour match silicone and get a nice 15mm bead of silicone along. Recently I've started filling gap with flexible silicone flush with floor then depending on door frame colour/material.. If white pvc i usually mitre mate a bit of 30/40mm pvc plate to the floor or if aluminium you can get aluminium stick down door bars just like you get under internal doors if floor coverings change. Always give my customers the choice but I feel fitting pvc plate/ aluminium bar gives it more of a floating look

I've recently had this type of flooring installed, it's creaking and cracking everywhere. The original underlay for straight planks was reused, could this be the issue? It's a new build and concrete floor, pretty level but there are very small high/low spots in some areas

This video is great, especially for a complete beginner like myself. Can I put herringbone laminate down without removing the skirting boards? I have a plunge saw attachment on a multitool and was going to trim the underside of the skirting, but I was wondering how I could get the ends and sides fitted under?

Thank you 😊 So, I undercut the skirting (because it was starting to split when I tried to get it off). But then fell and hurt my knee, so only getting round to the next step now. Are there any videos that would help with how to get the sides and end bits done with the skirting still on? Or would you have any advice? Thanks so much 😊

We wouldn’t recommend laying over wood flooring as there may be not moisture in the wood now but when the seasons change this may change.

Just laid this on a self levelled floor with gold underlay ,laid as per guide on the box , and it sounds like I'm walking on bubble wrap. All the short joints seem to be rubbing and making the noise 😒
