Wow... that's a lot. I'll keep my spare garage door fob double sided taped to the lid of my glove box... works great... If I ever do decide to go this route... I know a guy :)

I love this feature. Both buttons are paired for my driveway entry gate and the other for the garage door. Works like a charm. Back-lighted like everything else too. Thanks Cruise!

Great video, here is another shame on Honda moment....this is something they just should have wired in when the built the bike, add on another $200 to the retail price. Same with the Trunk light, what a pain in the ass to install something that should have been there from the start. It took some time to install the trunk light, but it is totally worth in in the dark, probably won't bother with homelink. I have noticed on my bike and yours too, there are knock outs in the saddlebag upper that looks like you can put a light in them too?? Any thoughts?

Wow where that homelink plug is, looks like a good place for the homelink box too.😂 Think I’ll get the $20 key fob style door opener and stow it in the side pocket.

Installed Homelike in both my Goldwing and my wife's Goldwing about 4 years ago. Really not very difficult, and when done, the Homelink is a very handy feature. I did not completely remove the center panel when installing the buttons so had fewer steps. Really not difficult.

I think ill just purchase a mini garage door opener and attach it somewhere, rather than risk screwing something up. Thats a bit much.

I bought a 2018 SC79 bagger in silver. Unfortunately it came with several scratches 🤯 I want to give it a full paint job and need information on how to remove all painted parts on the GW. Do you know where I can look that up? Thanks and Greetz from Germany Miki ✌️

HONDA makes me litteraly SICK that at the price We are paying for a TOUR model it's not installed this by default.

On European bikes, that wiring harness is not mounted onto the bike so we cannot place homelink, it would not work. I find that very regrettably. But if i I should find someone who will makes a harness, then maybe i would install homelink. But so far, nobody found to make the harness.

💯 % correct. I am based in South Africa 🇿🇦. I bought a whole lot of accessories from Wingstuff in 2019 for my 2018 MY wing, including the homelink. After all the stripping and hours of searching for that 8 pin connector, it was just not there. Ended up with the buttons connected to the middle console, but no Homelink. It's such a shame that Honda decided not to give us homelink as well. I'm not sure why, though? I wonder 🤔 if the new 2021 model and upwards had an update where they included this homelink connector to all their bikes? why is it only fitted for certain markets?

That is the most common comment I get on this video. Honda made it way to difficult.
