With hub centric rings, can you run spacers also? Or do you need to have spacers that already have the hubcentric ring on them?

You have to buy hub centric spacers. There are non-hub centric spacers, and those are not recommended if you have a hub centric car(which is most cars).

Thank you for the video. My question is, do you install the hub rings on the wheels first and then mount the wheels onto the hub, or install the hub rings on the hub and mount the wheel over it. Thank you

Either should work. If it is perfect fit then it shouldn't matter. If you bought the right size. If you put it on the hub, it shouldn't move. Then take it and put it on the wheels, it should fit the same. If both then it shouldn't matter what order. I personally do the wheels

Do you know if these also fix wheel wobble ? I installed bigger after market rims and tires on my car and they start to wobble at any speed my stock didn’t do that and I already had the aftermarket ones rebalanced because I thought that was it but it wasn’t
@djsonnee4 жыл бұрын
Yes most likely this would be the cause of it's already balanced and its not balanced. Buy it on Amazon. If it doesn't help, return it

I have a 2010 Corolla and I was looking at getting the Motegi Racing MR119 Rally Cross S 17x7" rims to replace my stock 17x7" rims. Would I need to buy new tires as well, or can I just have a tire shop switch them over? Also, how would I go about finding a hubcentric ring to fit the aftermarket rim?
@djsonnee8 жыл бұрын
Kelby, I googled this, www.wheelsupport.com/toyota-bolt-patterns/ , and it shows you have a stock 54.1 bore size. you need to find what your hub/bore size is on your new rims, and just search on amazon. 54.1 to xx.x centric rings, good luck!

i have an idea - just never put rims on a corolla. ThanK YOU.

Hey Kelby, all shops will be able to swap our your tires, no problem. But the larger tire companies wont if they are low tread but almost all the smaller ones will do it, if you have the low tire pressure, that would need to be swapped as well, legally i think they have to. Just look up what the stock hub size is for your car the find out the hub size over your rims and search amazon for that.

If your planning to install aftermarket wheels then the new wheels should tell you its bore size, in the description or in the inside of the wheels. With that then you do a quick Google search and find out your vehicles hub bore size. Then you buy centric rings with both sizes. New wheels/vehicles hub bores. And thats it. And yes you can use same tires. What Im puzzled is why the heck would u stick with OEM specs?

@@diosantana2659 I know it's a hot 3 years later, but I'm just gonna come back swingin'. Eat my fart bud. Not everyone just magically has a car given to them at 15; some of us actually have to work for our things. At this point, I was looking for something reliable that could get me through school from junior year of high school to the end of my engineering master's degree. So far so good, and I have plenty of other toys now. So, in short, I think Anyone that has a passion for this sort of thing can do whatever the hell they want with what they have, and people like you are too vanilla to understand that.

will it still shake after u buy the hub ring??? jux got a set of bbs n mine is shakin at 60 mph n up...b
@djsonnee8 жыл бұрын
mine didnt but that is assuming it was due to the wheel not being centered. if it didnt shake before your rims and tires are balanced, its most likely that
