HELP. Getting a IFH-0009: No Response from controlunit. Program will be stopped. Also getting Ediabas-Error- Error #13, IFH-0003: datatransmission to interface distrubed. Also not seeing the NCS Expert profiles. All that is shown is default and dummy DEAD IN THE WATER NOW.

Everything checks out on my end as you've describe, cable is read BUT when I go to read on my E34, I received error message IFH-0006: COMMAND NOT ACCEPTED. Program file will be stopped! What am I missing? I didn't download the K+DCAN file from the included CD as highly suggested not to due to known Trojans. Could I be missing a driver for the cable?

Hi, I just bought a K dcan switchable cable which came with a disc for my E46. I have installed inpa and other software from BMW geeks. However when I plugged the cable in it did nothing. not showing as plugged in anywhere on my windows 10 laptop. Is the cable faulty or am i missing a step? thanks dave

i cant get inpa to work, is it because i changed the directory from C drive to D drive? when i click F3 for e92 - it comes up with d_cas sys_0005 object file not found. program will be stopped. ive not tried it connected to the car yet as the battery is charging im bassically looking to reset the CAS - DME sync

Reading through the comments seeing alot of people having problems. I too had the error code come up. Your saying its because its either old or corrupt, I downloaded mine from bimmer forum and it's the same version as yours 5.0.6. If its not working because it's old how much is yours?

@@BMWDoctor I actually think it's because the setup on the forum download always fails on the driver install, need to download the drivers separately. Will shoot you an email at some point to get cost of yours though.

okay installed the same way. everything sems to run like yours. will test tomorrow if i get a chance. Last time i did this. The E39 refused to talk to the computer and the ECU said no. will try tomorrow. thank you. btw, i tried coding tool. MSCOMCTL.OCX missing or invalid. i guess this is not normal.

It’s not about the install mate it’s about the version the version your using is probably very old

@@BMWDoctor okay tested the software but this is not your version. I always get IFH-0009 problems with all downloadable versions. its why i gave up. nothign but errors. I followed your guide to the T and I. Failes badly. I have the same plug as you have shown but mine does not have a switch on it. what version is your adapter and where can i get that particular blue lead from. please.... I want inpa so bad I have to resort to pasoft. So far pasoft has steeered me in th e right directions and slowly helping me. Just fixed the no interior lights issue with pasoft. Turns out the x2 GM3 unit i have, actually failed both either illumination or DE-illumination. 1 Failed on key sync the other did not. So tried a 3rd GM3 unit )LOW) not High. This one worked in all areas. lights on/off and key sync was possible. What a bloody head case. What the hell is going wrong with the GM3's...
