how can you change the color of the rings? i saw that you can buy a different color ones... how can you replace the silver rings?

The cap on those lights comes off. You can cover the "cap" portion in front of the colored ring in a shop rag and use channel locks to gently clamp onto the light and unscrew it. At that point, you can remove the silver ring and replace with whichever option you'd like!
