Hi Marcus - huge fan and subscriber here. I really like the idea of you doing DIY videos on your new car. I'd said I'm an "intermediate DIY" type of car owner. Years ago - I always enjoyed being able to work on my own car - tuneups, oil changes, adding this or that. Today's cars don't allow for much to be done by the owner. You did this so well! I don’t have a Veloster but I think they’re very cool and honestly watching these videos is fun. I think that LED conversion is absolutely worth it and looks great. You did very well explaining and showing. I think you’ll love them and I’m so happy that LASFIT has the resistor built in to avoid the hyperflash.

Of course! It is a huge PLUS that Lasfit installs CANBAS on their turn signal indicators which prevents them from hyper flashing without a resistor. All in all, these were a GREAT upgrade for my car. Absolutely! LED taillights are known for their notably quicker "rise time" in comparison to incandescent bulbs. In fact, in most cases, an LED bulb is just about 0.2 seconds quicker to illuminate than a traditional incandescent bulb. Essentially what that means it that LEDs are safer because as you know, when you are driving, every last second of response time counts! Let's just do some really quick math... Because I know you don't think 0.2 seconds is that big of a deal, but let's say you are traveling at 60mph and you hit your brakes and you have LED taillights. The fact that your LED bulbs light up 0.2 seconds quicker than an incandescent bulb gives the driver behind you (on average) an additional 21 feet of stopping distance. WHICH IS SURPRISINGLY QUITE A BIT! Anyways, I hope you were able to learn something new from this video. That is ultimately my goal. Hey there, Justin! With these particular turn signal bulbs I have only experienced hyper-flashing if I leave my indicator (or hazards) on for longer than 2 minutes straight... LASFIT claims this occurs due to over heating within the module. But, if you turn them off for a few minutes, they blink normally again. But, other than that. These bulbs have been completely reliable since the making of this video. I still have them in my Veloster and LOVE them! So far, i’ve put in Led’s for the plate, interior, and headlights (very awesome) and still waiting to buy leds for all the tail lights, reverse, etc. Leds are such a good upgrade! I cant wait for your future videos man! Keep it up!😁

Oh wow! Nice!!! You've almost changed every halogen/incandescent bulb to LED. Cool! I bet your 2017 Elantra looks stellar!!! I actually changed every single incandescent/halogen bulb in my car to LED. Interior doom lights, Map Lights, Headlights, Fog Lights, License Plate, and (as you saw in this video) the entire taillight module. All of the LEDs really make it seem like I got a fully specced out Veloster despite me having the base 2017 model. You're really going to love your Elantra even more once everything is converted to LED.
