In this video we begin the installation of a complete Legend Suspensions setup for Harley-Davidson. In this segment we will cover how to install Legend's most poplar rear shocks on a Harley Road King FLH Bagger - the REVO A. In the next segment, we'll move on to the installation of the front cartridges.

That is my project for tomorrow. The rear shocks were delivered today. I'm no mechanic but with this explanation, I'm going for it. Well done. Thanks

My 2020 FLHTK manual says torque to 63-70 ft/lbs. Am I missing anything?

Great video! How do you account for the additional 20-30 lbs for the saddlebags and their contents? Also, about 75% of my riding is done solo, but 25% of the time I'm going on overnight camping trips so all my gear is strapped down behind me. Do you recommend re-adjusting the pre-load for this type of situation? Thank you.

Can you actually run these with the knob adjusters facing the front? Legends sent me 2 left side shocks and the only way the right side will work is if I put the adjuster knob facing the front. Curious if this will matter?

It's not necessarily 13 inches, you should measure center bolt to center bolt with no weight, then do your 1 inch adjustment. Most times, after install it's less than 13 inches.

You said the 13” shock has only 2” of travel and that 1” sag puts the position at halfway. Everything I’ve found researching these shocks is that they have a minimum of 3”, possibly 3-1/2” of travel. You need to double check your info. No one wants a premium shock with only 2” of travel. What would be the point???

Only 2” of travel on a 13” shock??? I think not. Everything I’ve read and seen indicate these have at least 3”, possibly 3-1/2”, of travel. Setting sag to 30% of total travel, which is the standard for premium ride shocks, will means sag is 1” with rider on board.
