Very nice video man, I have the same motherboard but with a 5930k instead OC'd to 4.5ghz, I have an corsair H110i GT Liquid cooler and its coming pretty close to the end of its lifespan now as I've had the system running for almost 3 years now, I Ordered this same cooler as a replacement for my Liquid cooler, I'm glad to see it fits in without any problems. I have an Aorus 1080ti thats a bit thicker on the back side because its backplate is actually raised off the back of the card a bit more, I hope the Noctua cooler still fits without touching the graphics card. Your video gave me confidence that the cooler will fit just fine, I saw some forums that said the cooler would not fit correctly with a graphics card in the top PCI-E 16x slot but It looks like they are wrong.

Hi there. Don’t worry, it will fit just fine. And you will be very satisfied with the new cooler. I was also planning to build this system with water cooler, but now I am feeling very glad that I didn’t go with water coolers. Thanks for your comment. And please share the video,... What about your rams, are they low profile...? It’s important that they should be low profile.

I actually have high profile ram but only 4 sticks so not all the slots are filled, only the Grey slots. I think it should be fine.

you will need to adjust the placement of the fan according to the height of the ram.

Very nice. I'm using the same Noctua in my build too except it is push/pull. Noctua coolers are great value and performance. As far as CPUs go, although the 5820 does provide great performance for the price I can't help but wonder why you didn't opt for the 6850K which provides you with full 40 lanes.

Understood. It took me months before I could find one for less than $700.00 Canadian. The prices for the series has dropped considerably since the next generation releases. Not quite sure what Intel is up to these days with their chips but glad I got my platform sorted before they went all schizo. They're latest release makes no sense at all.

I have a question, that noctua coolers says on noctua's website that has support only for other Intel's sockets, but I doesn't say x99 in any part, so how could you install it on a x99 motherboard?

Indeed,flat-head screwdrivers are not used in electronics because of damage caused by slips,certainly not with PCB mounting with the risk of scratching the copper strips or damage smd. Further, i like this video,its clear.

The standoffs are kind of screws. Luckily they are screwed in place. you can unscrew whichever you like. You can do it with a small pliers...
