Thanks alot. You were a great help. I had one small issue when running wizard. For server name i tried netbios name i tried SQL server name both failed. Turns out it was both ServerName\SQLname that worked.

Disable your firewall on the SQL server and the SharePoint Server or make exceptions for the proper ports.

You need to open the port used by SQL Server - by default, this is port 1433. To do this, go to the advanced Firewall settings (on the server where SQL Server is installed) (Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security) -> Inbound rules -> New rule -> Port -> TCP & 1433 -> Allow the connection.

I got to the SharePoint 2019 Configuration Wizard and it gave me an error saying the account didn't have permission. I gave the SPAdmin account the roles it needed on the SQL Server management Studio too.
