Good tutorial, A few tips I have found, when downloading mods from nexus, open each mod in a new tab. it makes the process cleaner, faster and more organized. Also for the health bars mod I would turn off all trash mobs. that way if you see a health bar you at least know it is something that needs to die. the only times I need to know how much HP a poxwalker has left is in the meatgrinder when checking break points.

Great video, that bit about the toggle bat file was especially useful I find getting the mod load order buddy also really helps as when ever you add more mods all you have to do is open the bat file and it instantly updates the mod load txt file with the new mods

Good to know, sadly im on the console and would love to see a scoreboard and damage numbers/ enemy hp. I feel that these features should have been there at release.

Somehow it become the norm for multiplayer games to lack even critically important UI, and leave it to modders. Like, its the state of every MMORPG in existence. That said, given how much developers hate UI programming - and I myself is not an exception - this should not be surprising...

Thank you for creating this! Now whenever anyone asks me for mods I can just link them this video instead. I would recommend Weapon Customization because funny ahh ogryn sword and cursed guns. Also, what are your thoughts on the Decoder Helper Mod? People say it's a 'cheat' but it actually helps during high tension moments, especially during Auric Damnation.

No problem, i felt like its the least i can do to try and help out the community. I personally don't use the decoder helper mod but i view it as the same as the book finder mod, they just add efficiency to the game and don't break it, so all good in my book.

Do you know how mods are affected by error 3016? Usually I have to delete my directory and reset router - hypothetically, would i have to reload the entire mod folder manually if this were to happen?

Not that I have found. But I imagine it could depend on how many mods you have installed and what they do. Might be worth checking the nexus mods description of any mods you're interested in.

What if I set Darktide to be managed by Nexus, now my mod load order txt just says "managed by nexus", even when I've unmanaged the game on nexus, any fix to this?

In the mod_load_order.txt do you have to put the names in order of the file order?

Nope that is not a necessity, the text file is like a manual load order. So whichever mod you put first will be loaded into the game first from my understanding

What to do when an update break your mods? I had mods before the carnival but no matter howmuch i unpatch and redownload the mod enabler, it always crashes my game if i go to the mission selection screen

I do, but I don't use them myself. Those kinds of mods can be found on various discord channels, but I couldn't advise you further from there. Maybe try hitting up the darktide modders discord

Don't worry Console users, I'm on PC and don't use mods. Focus on making a great build with weapons you enjoy, learning the game and your class and you will stomp without mods. Having the scoreboard or HP bars mod can make you play more greedily and give you tunnel vision. Once you become really good at the game you won't even need to think about mods! Now get out there and PURGE THE HERETICS!
