I got back into Darktide for this update. I haven't played it in a long time, and it is my new favorite game after I burned out on Space Marine 2. Your videos really help me out. I didn't know this game allows mods for a co-op game, but it's mostly QoL. All your class builds videos are so helpful, especially to a brain-dead player like myself who wants to have fun & be beneficial to my team.

"Guarantee Weapon Swap" so that is why I see all those streamers swap weapons back and forth in an instant, while I often need several tries to swap my weapon! It's so frustrating having a horde crash into you while having your gun out, desperately trying to get your blade out to block and just seeing your gun pop up again.

New player, thanks for this, I didn't know mods were allowed! I was watching your and other content creator videos and I always wondered why their UI looked different from mine, or how they were spawning in mobs to fight in the chamber hehe. Another good tool is the Vortex mod manager, it's easier to update the mods to after an update to.

The Overframe builds are mostly bad :P There are some really good ones hidden there done by some creators but lots of them are outdated unfortunately ;/Awesome to meet another WF player that also plays Darktide!

There is one i saw on the nexus mods page that literally turns the graphics all the way down, it migjt help

Low end gamer here, I recommend "More Graphics Options" for easily turning down some graphics settings below the minimum the ingame options menu lets you normally do and "Disable Screen Effects" for disabling certain effects that noticeably drop my frames- like being on your final wound and the vet's executioner stance.

got the game a week before the update and have been enjoying it so gd much, and was about to get serious about aurics until i watched an auric run on yt and discovered the modding scene. one thing i worry about is whether the mods are quick to become outdated and whether there are any no-no mods and stuff like that. ive seen hud mods and qol stuff so far

All mods are allowed, and youll only have to update them after major updates, this last update only broke like 2 mods of my 25

How much of a headache when the game updates and mods become incompatible? That happen often? And if so, how do you normally handle it?

Not much. It has to be a BIG update to break mods. The recent patch was the biggest for a year and I only had to turn off a few mods. Mostly ones that aren't needed after the changes. A few others needed updates that came a few days later and the Nexus site shows you when an update is available.

I didn’t update any mods even after this update, and the game still played fine. Just have to run the batch file after each update

Hey, I always seem to get the silent bullets bug as soon as I try to install any mods? Anyone know how to fix this?

@@MisterEtide The bullets are silent but only when using the infantry autocannon, apparently it's caused either by scoreboard or animated events (the one that's tied to scoreboard). Oh well, I guess maybe when it comes to my mission performance ignorance is a bliss

Make sure you unzipped the files you put in the mods folder etc. probably easiest way is to install the first 2 i talk about, then launch and make sure there’s no issues before adding more

How do u get white rarity weapons to level up and reach the max perimeters? I leveled up a white with good max stats thinking if I leveled it up and then empowered it up then it would reach the potential. But the weapon would up being very sub par

The max is 4 80s and one 60 or anything that adds up to 380

@@MisterEtide how do you know if a white or profane rarity will be those max stats when u level it all the way up and empower it tho? I bought a bolt gun white level with all 80s and one 60 potential. Then leveled it and the end stats were awful.

​@@kinggrimmjow8980It tells you before you level it up what the fully leveled stats will be. It gives you two numbers for each stat at the beginning. The second number is what you'll end up with when it's fully leveled. If you inspect the weapon, then hover over each of the stats, you can see the bonuses each stats will provide. These bonuses will give two numbers as well on the far right side, the left one tells you what the lowest possible bonus is and the right one tells you what the bonus is if the stat is maxed out at 80. Some bonuses don't change much depending on the stat, other bonuses are greatly influenced by the stat.

Do a search on 'dump stat' for the weapon you are interested in, and that would be the lower number stat.

@@MisterEtide im not sure where i saw it but i saw someone put up a post and then talk about how mods that change other peoples games were not allowed with a shirtless zealot in the lobby before loading into the match. id be super keen for a shirtless zealot otherwise whats the point of all those cool tattoos we get to pick at the start lol

I believe it was a glitch for a while, people were complaining because they patched it, but i heard theres a different way to get it
