Can you add additional locks to the one connector or do you need a connector for each lock?

As long as they are close because they send a Bluetooth signal but you get a connector with each door lock you buy, it comes in the box zachus.me/NestYaleX

I just installed mine but the nest connect bluetooth wall adapter isn't showing that 6 digit code my nest app is asking for, how do I find it? THX

Are you talking about the code on the back where it says to scan QR code?

@@Zachus yeah but Google video instruction in KZbin says type that code in the phone app.. But there's no code written in the connector/wall adapter.. only a bar code!

I couldn’t connect my nest Yale lock to nest app with my home WiFi so I had to use my hotspot to connect and then switch it to my home WiFi

I'm interested in getting a NEST lock, but my question is this is only a dead bolt right? So am I to assume I would leave my normal door handle unlocked at all times leaving the dead bolt to be my only lock? I was one to think that the deadbolt is the secondary lock to the door handle lock.

Yes that is why you try and pick the color of your existing door knob, stainless, bronze or gold so they match. Most front doors now only lock by the deadbolt, at least in newer houses. If you have one where both are locked this would not work for you unless you leave the other one unlocked.

I was concerned about this as well because some have a keyhole for manual use. But after a lot of research, I felt like it was the best for me. The batteries last a long time. The app will notify you when they get low. Do you have a garage? If so I highly recommend the MyQ which allows you to open/close and monitor your garage door and will give you a backup. I've used this for over 3 years and all my family has it. Really well worth $30 amzn.to/2Q4REax

Yes and no. The Yale doesn't have built in Wifi only bluetooth so a lot of people do this, they have a separate Wifi device that sends a bluetooth signal. It was a way to bring Yale into Nest. Otherwise it would be a separate app etc... I love mine, works great!

Did you ever get it to connect. It can be tricky. Nest has great support for this. They can troubleshoot with you. Sorry you are having so much issues. I've loved mine so much!

@@Zachus yeap, just removed all nest thermostats and added them back again and it connected to everything within 5 mins.
