I really hard to get answer about this, can you help me? So my phone doesn't have usb-c video output nor DP alt mode. But I'm thinking can I connect my phone to Xreal beam wirelessly and so I can use xreal air?

you can if you have option to cast your phone screen or in app sharing or screen mirroring like youtube have it. this option is available both in android and iphone. but you need xreal beam for it to work you cannot directly cast to glasses alone. use hdmi to usb c adaptor for laptop and for iphone you can user air play for wireless casting to xreal beam or lightning to hdmi adaptor and then hdmi to usb c adaptor. i hope this helps. please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos.

it is amazing i watch movies and tv series every night on this and using my sony xm5 headphones its really cool. yes you can connect a pendrive but i guess you would need a usb c hub for it not that i have tried. xreal air 2 is newer version of this but honestly they are not that different if you get this one cheaper go for it. for laptop you can use hdmi to usb c adaptor and with additional hub for iphone to hdmi and hdmi to usb c adaptor can be used. also with iphone you can do air play just like chreomecast go cast it to xreal beam wirelessly. if you want to watch movies and play games like a personal tv its good. if you are more into AR or VR or 3D stuff you are better off to a VR headset like quest. you can watch sbs 3d video on this glasses. I hope this helps.

@@AstroShootingStars I followed the instructions to the T, first I reset Xbeam, then went on the browser do download the app. After downloading the app I went on settings but boom immediate crash. I will try again.

@helbertasprilla yes please it was crashing for me too earlier but i noticed after i downloaded the app it did not crash. also ensure that you have updated your beam also you reset beam. I hope this will help.

its the devices that needs to cast to beam not other way around. not sure what you exactly want to do , you want to cast your beam screen to tv ? you can connect it to tv via usb c to hdmi connector hub if it has more than 2 hdmi output connect both.

not now but seems like they are adapting the os for something bigger. for now only way is through the process of the video.

Tried to follow your guide but the hub i bought doesnt seem to recognise using the beam ( Anker 555 USB-C Docking Hub (8-in-1) PowerExpand Adapter, 100W Power Delivery, 4K 60Hz HDMI, 10Gbps USB-C & 2 USB-A Data Ports, Ethernet Port, MicroSD ) any suggestion how i can get around this?

i had one as well and also did not work for me. I fortunately had another hub which worked in guess it works with hub having more than one HDMI port and another weird part was unless i connect 2 hdmi ports it did not display. may be connect other peripherals to hub may be it detects your hdmi. if not unfortunately you will need another hub. use a keyboard with bluetooth if you dont have usb port. ensure that keyboard that you choose should not require pin to pair.

The rokid hub , passthrough would compatible , a normal hub would have to be two USB Cs video & their still be an issue weither it would power pass through the glasses Rokid hub, or red magic hub but it's costly

How to make the beam become pointer as a mouse

mine could be older model of keyboard. it only works with included dongle so it does not require pin to work so i used if yours requires pin it wont work

yes basically we are not jailbreaking we are just installing the app.jailbreaking means unlocking the boot loader which we are not doing. if you factory reset or just uninstall the app should be just as before. I hope this helps. please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos

@williambecton8833 technically jailbreaking beam would mean unlock boot loader which we are not doing we are just installing the application. jailbreaking in beam is misused but since its a popular way of saying it so we use it. but no we are not jailbreaking beam if we are installing the apps only. @het99009197 make sure you connect the doc to usb C port where you connect your glasses not the charging or input port. Also if you have more than one HDMI output try switching the port or connect more than one hdmi cable some usbc to hdmi dock might need two hdmi to recognize beam.
