One thing that could helped with removing the cables would have been to loosen the throttle and idle cables. That could be done with the adjusters below the throttle.

Throttle side is a pain in the ass, but it helps if you release the tension on the throttle and idle cable. Bike looks good. Keep up the good work.

What do you use to release the throttle and idle cables? Looks like some sort of brass piece? Is that a tool to buy separate to help with the job? Great video, thanks for making!

I actually didn’t loosen up the throttle and idle cables 😅 that’s why I had such a hard time removing them. I could have ruined the cable. All you need is a 🔧 😂 And thank you! I’m glad it was helpful.

Use an air hose. Air compressor… a lot easier and you can save them
