I used this same brand on my 06 jeep liberty. Filter was very hard to reach. Moved it to the air dam area out front and kept filter at same level as old location. Also running a larger filter and I think it's cooling oil down a bit more since the filter is fully exposed to cooler air blowing across it.

Question, does it matter if u install it above the oil pan or it has to be leveled or lower than the pan? Also does it matter if its mounted at an angle or completely side ways?

Not at all the pump still pushs it just fine

What matters is... where the bypass is located inside the filter. If its top located, the mount should accept filter with o-ring up. If its in the bottom, orient remote filter bracket sideways or o-ring more or less down.

60 psi and oil slippery connections will love those clamps.

Mine never did i just hated the lines over all so i later upgraded to an6 lines well worth it

IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE: to double check houses are correct the Center hose coming off the relocation plate on the engine block side goes to the “OUT” side of the filter side of relocation kit. Those instructions were a nightmare.

@@nrmasson1 I put the hemi in a jeep wrangler 2015 and if the axle were to come up when going off roading it would’ve smashed right into the oil filter

@@ghostlyrich Got it, I am thinking of relocating mine, but I'll have to move the filter to a higher location, and I don't know if the pump will be able to pump the oil this extra height.

@@nrmasson1 hmmm I have seen people bolt them on top by top of the engine seems like it would cause a big mess though if you unscrew it to fast and do not allow the fluids to drain back into the tank

Is it leaking from the oil filter itself??? if it’s leaking from different parts of the motor this won’t fix anything if it’s leaking from the oil filter I would double check to make sure the surface is clean or that it possibly doesn’t have two gaskets on where the oil filter goes. There should only ever be the one gasket which is attached oil filter. Sometimes the old gasket can stay on there and if it gets to gaskets on it, it will leak.

Worst oil filter brand you can use….. fram oil filters sucks and a waste of money………
