But after installing Wordpress, I noticed I can't install plugins and themes from the Wordpress repository while offline, I had to be online to be able to install my plugin and the plugin does not work anytime my browsing data Is off, does it mean I can't install plugins using the WAMP server without being online?

Yes, you can't install plugins and themes offline. However, you can download the themes and plugins from wordpress.org and then upload them offline when you need them.

So basically developing a website using WordPress is like a middle option between developing from scratch and using a service like Wix or Shopify? What if I want to make adjustments to the site? Can I edit the code within WordPress or everything is dependent on the themes and plugins provided by third parties (even if they are free)?

WordPress is like a balance between code and page builders. It has more flexibility and functionality compared to other page builders out there(Wix and Shopify) with the help of plugins. If you know your way around PHP you can easily edit WordPress code and even create your own plugins and themes.

I tried to do this once and the "index" file of Wordpress overwrote the "index" file of the Wamp server ..... any idea on what I did wrong or how to avoid this kind of "conflict"?

Am guessing you didn't install WordPress on the right folder.

@@pauldesgn Yeah, that's what I think too .... Now, from what I see in your video, if I copy the WordPress folder under "www" AND I if I would like to have more than one website in WordPress, do I have to download and have a separate WordPress folder for each WordPress website, OR do I just create a separate folder for each WordPress website under the same WordPress folder that I downloaded the first time? I guess with the first option I would have to create a separate database too and with the second option the different websites would point to the same database? Am I wrong or right on the latter? Thanks .

The option 1 is the best way to go. Create a new database and new WordPress folder for each websites inside the www folder and follow to process in the video.
