When I click run as administrator on setup.exe it is asking for permission then after i give permission then it is not running setup.exe installation window doesn't come after giving permission.pls reply @ManishSharma

i have installed both 19c (removed now) & 11g (available) for using them but none of them is able to create tnsnames.ora & listener.ora during the installation process. I have tried all oracle tools NET MANAGER, NET CONFIG TOOL but failed to create a listener after i copied both files from another machine. but in Windows services LISTENER is running.. I don't know what is happening with me. please help needed.

I am getting error in typical installation as [ins-35179] current available memory is less then the required available memory (2424mb) For creating the database. [Ins-35075] a database instance with the specified identifier already exist

This installation is of Oracle Enterprise Edition. Oracle XE is different. Though you can do much more with Enterprise Edition.

disable the antivirus or firewall. Make sure there is no space in the path of setup.exe. Also, make sure your previous installation was properly wiped out. This should solve the problem. In case it's not then change the location of the oracle database directory that you have downloaded and try executing the setup again.
