How to install-Pittsburgh/ Harbor Freight Motorcycle wheel vise upgrade

I bought one of these 2 weeks ago. I removed the old wheel chock and drilled all the new holes, installed the right side (non-moving side) of the vice. Reinstalled the handle, and mounted the left side. Turned the handle one revolution and the ball bearings immediately failed and began falling out. Literally rolling out of the tube onto the floor. I returned it to Hobo Fright and got my money back. Hope you have better luck than I did. I’ll spend twice as much to avoid this kind of experience again.

Dang, that is super unfortunate to hear! that's a big let down that it failed on you, at least you were able to get your money back from them!

Yep, still use the vice! I've had no issues with it so far

I'm looking for ideas for the old vice! Has anybody come up with a useful idea?
