Not working for me. When I press play, it just doesn’t open.

Have you tried starting it in game mode? Maybe it'll work there.

Maybe you can try to restart the deck and see if it is then there or redo the previous steps.

I felt like I misses a step because when I try to launch PS a white page pops up is what pops up instead of the Ps plus boot logo I'm a little confused about what exactly did I messed up with

i had exactly the same. make sure the "start in" field is correctly past (you mustn't put "")

They run as good as on the ps4/ps5. So some games are better than running them natively on the steam deck. But if you buy them on steam you own them forever.
