Great tutorial! It is possible to load all brawl mods from usb loader, it’s not preferred but I thought I would add that it’s possible. Also I suggest making a wiiflow tutorial

@@michaelbennett741 nah I used this guide to install remix and then thought if I can get remix to work PMEX can't be much different. Literally followed the steps exactly the same except used the PMEX files and it worked perfect.

@@michaelbennett741 the parts I kept messing up was the SD criteria you really do need an HC SD card for the files and a separete thumb drive to load the game from, also so far I can't get any launchers to work except the ones that come with it, so don't try using wiiflow or usbloader only official launchers.

@michaelbennett741 I'm assuming youre trying to play on modded wii/wii u , but if you drag and drop all files to the root of your SD card it should automatically include a launcher u can boot from the homebrew channel, this goes for both project plus and PMEX. And by separate thumbdrive I just mean you can't use your sd card to boot smash bros it needs to be on a external storage device/ thumbdrive, unless you're just booting it from the disc then there will be a launcher option for that.

Quick note: ANY SD card can be used, including SDXC, as long as you format it as Fat32

Hey I followed your introduction on getting Mario kart Wii ctgp and i noticed that the project plus also has boot.elf and when I want to put the project plus’s boot.elf on the sd card is asking to overwrite it. Should I over writing it or no? Will it work when I want to play ctgp?

keep the boot.elf you got from mkwiictgp on your pc and save your project plus boot.elf and put one on your sd card to play the specific one

I dont know if anyone else has this problem but I used the homebrew method to launch project+ but after a little while my screen goes black and i get some strange error message. it doesnt say anything its just a collection of numbers and letters and the only way to leave is to turn off the console and turn it back on. I dont know why it does it or if there is a fix but I hope that doesnt mean project+ doesnt work on my Wii.

I remember having that same problem while trying to get Project M to work. I eventually fixed it somehow by putting the SD card back into the computer and doing something and Project M loaded up. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what I did to get it to work.

Hello friend, I have a problem. It happened to me with Project + and with Smash Remix (Both Project M) there are times when it don't even want to load the game tha screen stills in a black screen, there are other times when you start a match in smash mode the screen goes black with an error code. I'm playing it from the Wii U Virtual Wii. But my question is why does this happen? And does it also have a solution for Wii U?

Mine doesn't work, I have a 4GB SDHC Card w/ some apps loaded on there. I have it in it's own folder. I also have a 16GB SDHC Card. Edit: Nvm, I had to have it on the root of the SD Card. It's on the 16gb card & it works.

For anyone wondering use CFG and set your hooktype to VBI it didnt work for me because i downloaded the cheats through cfg but universe and other mods use itsown cheat codes it replaced universes codes for me when i downloded them so it ruined the loader
