Before cutting make sure of cable length with motor both stowed and deployed, sometimes if they are to close the cable can kink when stowed, also check that cable will not interfere with future electronics, you do not want the cable to hit your expensive monitor or have the monitor impede the deployment of your trolling motor.

Take a string from the rear hole where bicycle seat is find center of hole with string to the center of the front hole bicycle seat, than center that to pedal tray, now your centered, also make u have drain hole in tray, did that to my nitro 901

I have a 2003 nitro and want to take out the old recessed foot pedal tray so I can install a new Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor. The current pedal tray is too small. What foot pedal tray did you buy to fit your foot pedal and do you think the new Ultrex will fit as well. thanks, Bob
