How to install RetroArch "BETA" on the PlayStation Classic play N64,MAME,NEO GEO,SEGA & MORE

Hello everyone if you're having issues getting this to work try a different USB flash drive or hard drive and make sure it's USB 2.0 and I've had the best luck with formatting it in FAT32.

Hopefully eventually all you have to do in the future is use a sd card (one modified already) as with memory card and disc on ps2. Great stuff, hats off!

Isn't the Final Burn Alpha core better for arcade games than MAME? Should be in the core list, it has fba in the name.

Does it have any display feature for sharper image since the original software is blurry and the bleemsync only has the "2x" feature?

Its already cleaner looking using retroarch but if you try to get any sharper of image it will just slow the game down

when I add games to bleemsync just the d-pad buttons work and the files keeps getting corrupted and im using usb micro sd flash drive.

it happened to me but i fixed it bye removing any recent games you have put on the usb some games can be weird just saying from my experience

I would advise people to wait for a more stable version if you have bleemsync 4 and it’s working well just stick with it imo I think they are over complicating things

do you know if mk trilogy works with bleemsync i cant get it to open...Also snk vs capcom with bleemsync it opens the game but the screen stays black

On the SNES I've the game WWFWFEST on it. I've to use the MAME2014 core for it to play. The only thing messed up is the sound as it sounds lagging or choppy for lack of a better word. Does anyone here have this game and how to fix the sound so it flows smoothly?

Does Retroarch run PS1 games better? I found a lot of games that I couldn't get to work with Bleem Sync on the Playstation Classic.

@@neuroticandroid nope you can just use them the way they are. All you need is the bin and cue files and they work with retroarch you can just leave them where they are and find them inside Retroarch by searching the USB drive and they will work

Thanks man, this is great. I can't get neo geo games to load though. I have them in zip format and when I try to load the archive it just kicks me back to retroarch. Any ideas?

I had to use MAME 2003 core to load NEO GEO. and you will need neo geo bios and bios directory for it to work

Must be a glitch it should work but when it doesn't just unplug the PlayStation and plug it back in and start over.

Unplug and try again. Make sure all the files got copied to flash drive as well

@@maxwellscott4224 try a different flash drive and make sure its usb 2.0 and fat32 format. I forgot to mention the video that some flash drives just aren't compatible. I'm using the newest cheapest SanDisk 16GB flash drive 2.0. Also if your in a different region other then US it may not work properly but i can't confirm this.

Most Everything on SNES should play just fine. All 8bit and 16 bit systems that are working on this version of Retroarch should work without much issues.

@@8-Bit_Flashback ya im modding it lol ofc i already have all consols modded and i wont enjoy it without analog so ofc modding it bleemsync and retroArch gonna play Crash , Kings Fields games , Shadow Tower , MGS , i hate the fact that u needed two discs to play a single game like MGS also all Region Locked thingy J , U , EU and PAL 50hz take long time to load the screen 7 secs late read backup like trash had to restart it like half an hour of restarting gor copy game to lanuch for it to stuck at loading screen and goes black and white .. so ya i will put OG ps1 in closet and play ps1 feels nostalgic more on the classic it had the logo when u boot it up! And the sounds! I really want a retropie to not get dissapointed as i dont want glitches bugs while playing ps1 games! But i just want the classic for intro logo opening sounds it look like one feels right! How was Sony expected for customers to put more games in this console? It doesnt have ps store what the point?
