Im in Australia. Product bought from Officeworks a fews ago. I've spent hours trying to get the Aqara A100 Zigbee to pair to the native Aqara app on IOS. When I hit the settings button on the back of the device, I don't get a pairing code like in the video. I get a voice asking me to input the Admin password or fingerprint. I have neither. There doesn't appear to be a way to factory reset the device, to clear this either. Even after removing batteries, and repeating, I still get prompted to input the Admin password which I dont' have. Please help.

I have problems with lock bolt extending and retracting. It stopped extending after I gave my lock to my door maker. In fact my handle doesn't moves up at all anymore. I don't know what this guy did but how do I make it work? Please help.

4:40 screw should look indoors, not “towards the door”. It sets the handle that is going to operate the locking mechanism. Edit: it sets the handle that is going to be the inner one. You can both close and open the lock with this handle by simply turning it up or down. Pulling the outside handle up, mechanically engages the lock, but pulling it down doesn't do anything.

I see. I had the same question. I actually just messages Aqara's support email just now because there are tons of inconsistencies in their install video which is a shame. They could've hired a native English translator for this to avoid such confusion.

So this means that the screw should be on the indoor side, correct? As for the latch, how do you know which side it will be?

​@@kevindd992002 yes, correct. The latch side depends on how your door closes. It's flat side should face the direction the door is opening to. You can just check it with your current lock

For anyone who installed this, how does your fingerprint work before setting up with the app? Does that mean at this point anyone with a finger can open the door?

Yes, in its initial state anyone can open the door.

Sheesh! Why dont they just sell you the correct door you need. Basically you have to destroy your door completely to install it. If someone wants to add a different door knob, youre screwed. Go buy another door.
