Even with the correct size trim tools it is easy to break a tab on both trim parts; so take your time. I broke two on the first side! Happily none on the second side but I decided not to remove the larger trim part in full and still was able to remove the light unit. All happily back in place now.

I wish the fogs were so simple to change in my Swift! It comes with full LED headlights as standard but crappy halogen fogs. To change them you have to jack the car up and remove the engine tray.

Samuel Brooks One thing Ford are very good at is making their light bulbs easy to change! Had a Clio 200 in the past and that was an absolute nightmare to change a headlight bulb, so I completely get where you are coming from!

i would end up pulling out the signal wire for the cornering light. thats what indicators are for

I seen a fog LED upgrade for mk8 which you could set from white to ambient (yellow) it I’m struggling to find them. You’re able to choose the setting by how you turn them in/off. Anybody know which ones I mean? I’ve done a bit of research and have only seen the ones on the CEUK website (shown in this vid) and the ones I’m looking for. Any help appreciated. The CEUK ones look like the ones I’d go for but I just want to double check the options. Ps. I’m picking my ST3 up on Thursday. About time (ordered June).

At 4.20 the n s fog light is out , did it only last 2 mins ?

ineeddollars That’s by design as they are also used for cornering lights. So when you turn left, the left one comes on and right, the right one comes on. Bit of a weird design but there you go 🤷🏼‍♀️

Brenden Johnson That’s the camera, not the bulbs. LED’s don’t play nicely with cameras unfortunately. If you look at 04:05, you’ll see the stock LED’s doing it too 👍🏼

I've seen the video. I was thinking more on the panoramic roof and the limited slip dif. Can you feel the difference with the dif? Is the panoramic roof worth the cost.

Jack Droogan Diff and roof are my two favourite options. The diff is really quite something and the roof makes the interior look much nicer, and it’s nice to be able to open the rear of the roof on the motorway :)

Thanks very much for this. Just installed these, and also the scrolling door mirror indicators on my Fiesta Vignale - I’ve got the LED headlights, and all together they make such a difference. Ford really should upgrade the fog/cornering lights with the LED headlight option. The removal of the trim round the fog light on the Vignale was straightforward, and comes off in one piece. The front parking sensor is in it, but there’s quite a lot of length in the cable. I started releasing the trim from the number plate and worked outwards. The new bulb has a + and -, so make sure it’s working before reassembly! Thanks again :)

Iordanis Georgiadis Are you referring to the mirror bulbs? I’m not too sure as I’ve not changed them myself but I believe there are hidden clips in the four corners. They do just pull off though 👍🏼

I have seen people replacing the fog lights from the top, after removing the headlights, in an ST-Line. You can’t do it that way in the ST? (No risk of breaking the plastic pins)

José Simões I didn’t try (as you can see!), but you may be able to do it that way. I’m not entirely sure how accessible the rear of the fog light assembly would be. Removing the plastics is damn easy to be fair! And yes, dash cam is next up 👍🏼

This looks much better with the led instead of the halogen bulbs. My upcoming fiesta has the led headlights option & mine is the titanium spec, the foglights are of a different shape, I assume that it would be a similar process to change the bulbs over?

Jenny Donne I believe you have to change from behind. So either remove the headlight (which is really easy!) and go in from the top, or the manual suggests going in from the front wheel.
