deinstalled the MSFS20 for the 24 and if I start the feinx installer it tells me that they did not fond the flight simulator.... any idea how to solve this problem ?

That's strange, have you checked the folder structure and paths? Default one for MSFS 2024 Store is: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages Replace YOURUSERNAME with your PC Username For MSFS 2020 it is: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages

I have the same problem did u managed to find a workaround, i think that we need to change the path of community folder to identify with the a320 fenix old MSFS2020.

I am not getting a picture of the Fenix Airbus on the planning page 1:20 like you have. What could be the problem?

There should be one, have tried with a search and entere a320? Then you should see all the a320 planes also including Fenix. Except for that try running the Fenix Installer again and make sure that it's updated for the MSFS2024. When I first opened the Fenix Installer it updated automatically to adapt for the MSFS2024. One other thing you can do is go into settings in the Fenix installer and make sure there is a community folder location for the MSFS2024 directory.

The fenix installer i have only shows the msfs 24 steam version option. Yours shows the msfs 24 store version. How i get the msfs24 store option?

Can you please say where the files are placed? I have msfs2024 on a different SSD and I can find no way to direct the installer to provide the correct path and it is not finding it as it should do

Hi, If you go into MSFS 2024 and the click on Marketplace then My Library then on the cogwheel next to the search field. There you will have a community folder location, if you click on Open it will open that directory. Hope it helps! I will also make a video about it.

If you start outside of the Cockpit in walking mode you can press SHIFT + C to enter the cockpit. You can also click on the camera mode in the menu and then chose cockpit view. Let me know if it worked.

@@Canadian76 I was able to resolve it by uninstalling Fenix aircraft using the installer then launching MSFS2024 a couple of times until it reappeared on the Fenix installer. Hope that helps

Hi, thanks for the video. When I have the Fenix Installer open, I still have the little windows with "Scanning... Checking for new versions", nothing happen. I don't have the red windows to download. How can I solve that please ?

What livery’s do you get?

There's a lot of different liveries to chose from, most of them that use the A320 in real life aviation. Such as SAS, EasyJet and much more.

@thomasbriscoe120 ok I had the exact same issue also in msfs 2020. So have you set everything up in the fmc? Make sure that you have a high enough airspeed first otherwise you cant engage the autopilot. So fly it for like 1-2 min manuellt and then try the Autopilot, that worked for me

I deleted msfs2020 and installed 2024 but the fenix installer won't even open because it says flight sim could not be found on my pc. Do I have to re-install msfs2020 just to get the installer to open? Help would be appreciated as I'm stuck since there is no msfs2024 support from Fenix themselves.

Hi! Ok you should not have to delete or uninstall msfs2020 for it to work. Have you tried to uninstall the installer and then download it again and try? What happens when you try to open the installer, do you get any warning message?

@StockholmPlanespotting I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the installer multiple times but same thing. The installer shows a screen saying "flight sim not found on your pc, fenix requires msfs to be installed". I can't get past this. I have only msfs2024 installed but fenix doesn't recognise this and there is no way to even access the installer. Thanks for your help.

@fssim6825 I see that's strange. I did find someone who had similar problems and then the issue was with the characters in the windows profile. This is what they said there: Special characters in your user name will indeed cause issues with MSFS. This quote is from MSFS support FAQ: “CREATE A NEW LOCAL PROFILE WITHOUT USING SPECIAL CHARACTERS If you have special characters (such as à, ù, Å, ò) in your Windows Profile, create a new local user or administrator account in Windows 10 with no special characters and run Microsoft Flight Simulator from that profile.” Maybe it could be something like that?

@@joey68ify Hi mate yes I did. Go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Appdata\Roaming - in there you will find a MSFS 2024 folder - this folder is the Steam folder location. No idea how it got there as never installed the steam version but I guess a 3rd party piece of software jumped in and did it. Once i deleted the MSFS 2024 folder at that location it allowed the MS Store version to install. If you are worried about deleting it simply move it for now to a different location so its backed up. I did also post this on Reddit and the Fenix discord.

That's strange, and it should be something that you can set up in the tablet I think. But if the tablet is not powering on hm. Have you tried to click the tablet several times? Or holding the tablet button? There is a bug with MSFS 2024 and the Fenix where you have to click several times on the tablet for it to react.

Hi, Hm that strange, I think it could maybe be that it's not finding the path to the MSFS 2024. I would try to uninstall the Fenix installer and then download a new one, I know that there was another update just some day ago. Maybe that will help, I would start to try that first.

Just download the liveries from the liveries installer. When in msfs 2024 select fenix then click configure on the bottom of the screen and scroll along until you find the liveriy you want

that's really strange. Have you checked that the community path is correct setup in the Fenix installer for MSFS2024, also when you start the installer it should automatically start the first update for MSFS 2024. After that you download the specific aircraft such as A320.

@@MMS_SpeeDy- sorry my mistake it was in the Fenix Livery Manager where you could set the path, but it shouldn't matter in the installer. It should automatically detecte the MSFS 2024 and install and update it. Try to download the installer again from the Fenix Simulations page, then try to install it again.

Thank you i solved. He download the Fenix on my steam community folder not in the Microsoft so i Just cancel the steam path community and he detected my Microsoft Path. I Just open Fenix installer and he ask me for An update and now he Say "Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MS Store) not anymore (Steam). I check my Microsoft community folder and now i have my Fenix thank you

What if I installed the original Fenix A320 on my C drive and MSFS 2024 on my D drive. Will the update automatically download where MSFS 2024 files are located - D drive or do I have to change the path?

It will find the correct drive automatically. My msfs2024 is also on a different drive. It found it without telling what drive

as gerrypalmer6712 already said I think it will do it automatically. What you could also do is go into the Fenix Installer and settings and check that the path for MSFS2024 is correct.
