How to Install the Harbor Breeze 52 in. Echolake Ceiling Fan

I have avoided doing electrical for the most part. I have been able in the past to put up simple light fixtures, but nothing like a ceiling fan. I purchased the listed ceiling fan and was just going to wait for someone to help me, but after the great video I decided to make it a DIY. Went step by step with the video and everything worked out great. Normally don't write reviews, but man you helped me out tons!

The fan blade arms on my fan came pre attached to the arms with a piece of plastic or cardboard the screws went through to hold them in place. Installation instructions that were mentioned removing them or not and I was hoping that your video would let me know. As they don't seem affected by water, and are therefore probably plastic, I guess I'll just leave them on.

They appear to be cardboard. Do not leave them on.

Hi can we use a dimmer switch with this fan?

You can use a dimmer switch to control the light, but not the fan. If installing this with a wall control, the speed part must be a variable speed control. You will also need to replace the bulbs with dimmable bulbs.
