Check your back plate... Make sure it hasn't fallen off...

No matter how I try to mount the fan it will NOT grab and I’m literally twitching by how infuriated I am. I’m putting this back on after I figured out my new cpu cooler wouldn’t mount bc my mounting pins disappeared…
