Excellent, fascinating. I suggested something just like this to David The Wizard Vizard via one of the tuning mags back in 1986, with the particular aim of reducing reversion (of petrol / air mixture) with big cams at lower rpm. He (or one of his ghost writers?) gave a very polite but shall we say a 'non-committal' answer. So maybe my idea wasn't so bad after all.

Would there be any benefit on a SPI leveraging a substack or potentially introduce hp stealing flow?

Thank you MED for the wonderfull mini videos I have a viewer question. There’s allot of videos on KZbin about o-ringing the head and it block. It’s it worth doing in a mini engine
@MEDEngineeringTechVideos6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. No this is not required on an A-Series engine. Carefully machined, you should not have head gasket issues even on the largest overbore sizes.

Will this fit for a weber 40dcoe? If not, will you make a 40dcoe dcr kit? Is there a major difference between a 40dcoe and 45dcoe regarding to fitment?
@MEDEngineeringTechVideos11 ай бұрын
Sorry but we only make these for the 45dcoe at the moment, as we do not have much demand for the smaller carbs.

Would you be able to make a kit for a Weber 46 IDA-2? I guess it more or less same fit apart from 46mm sleeves?

How tall is the Alu assembly and how tall is aircleaner? Will these fit Solex c45 ADDHE? Because that what I run on my Volvo B20 I’m an 122. And room is an issue.

Hi, these are only for the Weber 45DCOE.
@volvobrynk3 жыл бұрын
@@MEDEngineeringTechVideos but i run Weber Air cleaners already. Since flange is the same. So if you are willing to send me the length of the sleeves, and the length the inner Venturi, sticks in to the carb, because if it clears my auxiliary ventures they should fit. Possible send me an email at Volvobrynk@hotmail.com I really like your setup!

Are this filters better than cold air boxes?
@MEDEngineeringTechVideos4 жыл бұрын
Not sure on cold air boxes as there's rarely enough space to install a big air box on an A-Series Mini or Midget.
