Does anyone know after downloading all the files in the Download page, why the exe. files do not show an exe. File Type on the file Icon (like in 5:30)?

You need to set up your file manager window to display file extensions. In Windows 10, select View from the menu bar of the directory you want to see the file extensions, then select File Name Extensions from the Show/Hide menu or panel.

I have my project in V14 ( Siemens plc S7 1200 and hmi TP 700 COMPORT) so when i purchase this V16 is it possible to convert my plc programme from V14 to V16? For hmi (TP 700 comport) we have install WINCC professionals so i need buy wincc too is it so??

Yes, just open the v14 program (*.ap14) in v16. It should load and update the file without issue. A new file with the AP16 extension will be created, so your original v14 file will be preserved. if you configured the HMI panel with TIA Portal v14, it will be migrated to v16 as well, and you can configure the HMI with TIA Portal v16. If you used a standalone WinCC Professional app to configure the HMI before, you can use the same version to configure the HMI after updating the PLC program to TIA Portal v16.

Hi there, Thanks for your comment! The sharply discounted TIA Portal software is an introduction package. After the expiration date of 31.12.2020, the software won't be valid any more.
