What if Mano meter is designed for air for dust collector. It's just a physical gauge with no liquid. I'm assuming I drill 1/4 inch hole on inlet and 1/4 hole on outlet. Correct?

Hey. Thank you for a great explanation. I do not have much knowledge about sensors, and I m looking for some type of sensor for my project. My question is; we will drill using earth auger, and we want to count the rotation number. As I understood, I cannot use these types of encoders because I need to connect to the drill bit, and it completely will rotate, so I cannot connect these encoders to the bit and the drill itself. Should I search for magnetic encoders working with rings? In this way, I can place the magnetic ring on the rotational part, and I can count the rotation with an encoder that is close to the ring? Am I right? Thanks!

I have an RTD that's 13 foot long (large coil with nut and ferrule). How do you install that into a heat exchanger?
@realpars
@realpars 4 күн бұрын
Hi there..... Thanks for your question. Can I ask you a few questions first? Is the RTD thermowell already in place? What is the RTD connected to? A temperature transmitter> A PLC input card?
@rhomis
@rhomis 2 күн бұрын
@@realpars - The RTD is no longer installed. Somebody pulled it out and ruined it. It was connected to a Rosemount transmitter. Has two RTD sensors. There is only 6 inches of gap to install it in position. Otherwise the entire heat exchanger will have to be isolated and disassembled on the next shut down. There are a total of 4 Rosemount transmitters on this heat exchanger, each having a dual element, and different lengths. The Puck inside the Rosemount transmitter sends a 4-20ma signal to a CHARMS cabinet (no PLC board).

Thanks for the video I have a question, is it posible to use an USB to serial port cable to connect my OMRON CP1E 30 pin to my computer? I've been trying mutliple times but I had no success. I have my Omron connected to a desktop PC using a serial to serial cable but I need to connect it to my laptop, so I thought to use the USB to serial cable but I had not success, I tried to connect the serial-to-serial cable to the usb-to-serial cable but it didn't work. I would appreciate any help, thanks

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. I’m not familiar with that model but I’ve got lots of experience attempting to connect with other PLCs. Always a load of laughs……I don’t know exactly what you’ve done so far. I’m sorry if I’m suggesting things you’ve already done. First of all, be sure to install the drivers for the USB to serial adaptor. Secondly, ensure that you’ve got the correct COM port selected and properly configured. That’s always a challenge. This usually involves digging into the Windows Device Manager. Good luck! Let us know if you are successful or if you have any more questions.
