Only can apply on windscreen & headlamp is abit dumb tech. If you windscreen or headlamp is damage & need repair. you will need to purchase again at RM35 again.

Just buy a new tag. Tampered RFID cannot be use. If someone steals your SmartTAG or TNG card, they can continue using until it is cancelled.

(not giveaway entry) I actually had my RFiD tag installed on the first day of the pilot test beginning for the public. I'm not sure about the other states, but for me here in Klang Valley almost all the highways I go to support RFID and/or PayDirect. So ok la, nice to have 1 centralised management with app + now need to topup card not as frequently. All is pretty cool, but not as cool as Singapore's ERP system. But like how was mentioned in the 2018 video, need collab with highway partners + all users need rfid for that kinda system to perfectly happen

if someone hates you they can just peel off your rfid since it is located outside of your car. Then you will have to fork out money to buy it again. also, users will no longer be able to protect their headlamps with coating, polishing, or waxing since you need to install it on a clean surface. whoever introduced this rfid clearly did not think deeper. rubbish, in my opinion. waste of people's money.

If someone really hates you, there are better things on your vehicle to tamper to cause more misery. The RFID tag can be installed on the windscreen as well.

@@alexwnl same thing LA can peel off also. Vandalism can happen. Plus the guideline states that it should be on headlamps for sedans, on windscreen for taller vehicles wor 🤷‍♂

Happened to me, when tampered with due to accident etc, sorry, kiss goodbye to it, have to buy a new RFID tag & re-install. Be sure to call TNG to tell them to terminate the old tag.
