Yea better than an Alice Pack though I’ve traveled a mile or two with one of those.(Retired Green Beret). Jason you’re going to enjoy riding these adventure bikes…took me a while and a few $ before I settled on my Dr650. I’m introducing a new bike to my channel New Year’s Day. Going to get some good content out on it. Make sure you tune in. God Bless. Tommy

🇦🇺😎👍Love your racks and bags brother. Been thinking about getting them for one of my DR asaurasses. I have the top rack and bag but I need more room . Great video big fella . Keep upright 🇺🇸🏁

Thanks for the comment. I’m heading out for a two night camping trip and riding with a group tomorrow (pigs in the Forest fall ride) I’ve gotten the bike packed and look forward to trying out those panniers. I’ll have a video up on that soon.

Bags look great. Surprised how loose they are though but i think what you talking about doing will make it so it don't rattle as bad. Thanks again for giving me those you had.

Thanks and you are right they really do raddel. I’m packing them out with a bit of kit for weight and hoping the weight may settle something. Can’t wait to use the bags while camping. Thanks for commenting friend.

Great job Slick. Im just expanding after riding street since 86 to the dual/dirt thing. I am considering the same system. Was wondering the weight & how you like them. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment and question. The pannier with the aluminum plate weighs exactly 10 lbs. I have light gear and don’t over pack ( usually about 25lbs of kit) , so I have about 45ish lbs total. It balances well on my FR 650 and is like having a small child on the back. I don’t regret getting them. I was using the rack less luggage ( I have a video on that) but the extra weight and cargo space is worth it. God Bless, Tommy
