How to Install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on VMware Workstation Player On Windows 11

In this video I will show you how to install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Desktop and VMware tools in VMware or How to Install VMware and Use VMware to Install Ubuntu . You can use VMware Player which is free to personal use. This tutorial also helps if you install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. VMware is well known and has a reputation for ease of use. Many of its core products are free of charge (but not open source).
How can I install vmware tools?
You can use 3rd-party vmware tools that are available in the Ubuntu repository (contrary to the VMware-provided packages that are not available in the main repo):
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install open-vm-tools
sudo apt-get install open-vm-tools-desktop

at 7:00, there are these options Type of installation This computer currently has no detected operating system. What would you like to do? 1. Erase disk and install ubuntu Warning: This will delete all your programs, documents,, photos, music and any other files in all operating system. 2. Manual Partitioning You can create or resize partition yourself, or choose multiple partition for ubuntu. So, here you choose the 1st type of installation, so this will remove all my programs, documents, photos, music and other kind of files from my main windows computer. I don't want to loose this data. How to do without loosing data. Need detailed steps, i am a noob.

I recently got a virtual machine up and the machine itself is great but the icons are too tiny. Ive installed the VMware tools and even tried that trick where you mess with the DPI scaling thing (it works but the mouse is not corresponding with the place in the vm) Anybody got a suggestion? If you are going to install a virtual Desktop with your server. They will use RAM on the device you have them installed and having both virtual machines open will make both run very slow, if at all.
