Do you have a known working way of making the tooltip hover info appearing quicker that it does by default? I changed HoverMouseTIme in RegEdit but it seems to have no affect. Great video!

This video was about MediaInfo. There is no Tooltip in MediaInfo. Which exact program are you talking about?

How to tell if video is 10bit or 8bit ?
@MovieStudioZen Жыл бұрын
In the report that MediaInfo produces, one of the lines will say "Bit depth:" 10 bits or 8 bits.

@@MovieStudioZen i got mediaInfo to look for the bit depth of audio files. I've seen it displayed in other YT vids, but not for me!?!? and for some reason not for u, either, tho it did show for the video bit depth portion. (linux v20.09)

@@y2kenh Make sure you have the FULL output Tree turned on in the settings. Open MediaInfo and go to View (top menu) and select Tree.

Had to remove it. There was a link below the File, View & Options tabs saying "Sponsored by MediaArena WinX Video Converter" which redirects to a very suspicious site that I accidentally clicked on but unfortunately didn't load.

MediaInfo is a free app used by a large number of people. It's almost as well known as Handbrake in the video editing community and perfectly safe to use. The ad link you pressed inside of the app has nothing to do with the app and only a way for the makers of MediaInfo to make a little money. WinX Video Converter by Digiarty Software is a legit software company. I've never hear of "MediaArena". When I clicked on the sponsored link, it went directly to winxdvd.com, which is a legit website. *ONLY download MediaInfo from the official website and not one of the dodgy "copy" websites. This is the official link: mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

Unfortunately, I have given up on watching your new video series. It's all the fault of the completely redundant 60 fps in the video, where there is absolutely no need for this. I mean, my old laptop is having a hard time handling 1080p video at 60 fps. There are slowdowns, the fans begin to make a lot of noise. I have to choose 720p resolution, but it already looks unpleasant on the full screen, with a noticeable loss of clarity. Why do one need 60 fps in this type of training video? This is not a blockbuster, is it? Why waste resources? There are so many of the biggest techno KZbin channels that never post 60 fps videos because their creators understand that they are pointless. At the same time, their videos are considered by many to be the standard of quality. MKBHD, Unbox Therapy, iJustine and so on. Each of them has millions of subscribers, and none of them post videos at 60 fps.

Sounds like you need to buy a new computer. I made a mistake when I was recording this series with the screen recorder program OBS. I used a 60fps profile instead of my normal 30fps. When I tried to render to 30fps in Vegas, most of the panning/scrolling shots became blurry and jerky, so I had to render to 60fps as well. The actual video files I uploaded to YT were incredibly small and using relatively low Bit Rates, due to it being mostly still shots, which means even at 60fps they should play easily and do play easily for most people. Modern web browsers use GPU acceleration. Sounds like your old computer doesn't have the right hardware for modern browsing. Sorry to see you go. All the best.

You are right, for at least the past five years I have been thinking that soon I will need to buy a new laptop. But on the other hand, I am glad for every new day that my old but beloved laptop was able to work through (HP Pavilion dv5-1075er, which I bought in January 2009). At that time, it was a winner in many IT magazines that conducted group tests of multimedia laptops. It even has a small remote control that hides inside the laptop case. A very convenient feature that no one laptop offers anymore today. And, in fact, even today it is quite enough for me for most of my tasks (I haven't played games for a long time, even Tetris. ) And the videos that I need to create should not be more than 1080p, and the duration should not exceed 6 minutes. No effects, etc. are needed. This is a recording of myself playing a digital piano). Therefore, this does not require large computing power. Otherwise, I don't feel that something is slowing down or working slowly. Browsing in Google Chrome is fast and easy. Of course, when I'm at home, and not working at sea on a cruise liner, my laptop is connected to a large monitor and a comfortable external wireless keyboard with a mouse. But about the fact that your videos should be played easily, since there are a lot of static images in them - this is what I was thinking about. But I was thinking about it in a different context. I was surprised: why, despite the fact that there are a lot of static scenes in the frame, your videos still heavily load the computer. Moreover, I got the feeling that they load the computer even more than other videos on KZbin, which also have 60 fps. For example, many KZbin videos I can still watch without brakes at 1080p 60 fps. But yours are not. Even 720p 60 fps goes pretty hard. I'm not leaving. I have notes that are based on materials from your website and training video courses on MSP 13 and 14. I thought, if 1080p 60 fps is a problem for my PC, then I don't need MSP 17, but the old MSP 13, which I already used on my computer without any problems, will suffice. On the other hand, I have an iPad Pro 12.9" (2nd gen, 2017), which I use for a specific professional task (I am a musician, and I use an iPad to work with sheet music, which I create in a professional notation software AVID Sibelius on PC. On iPad I use the outstanding forScore application which became a standard for many musicians + a Bluetooth pedal for turning virtual pages. Plus Apple Pencil for annotations). And sometimes I think that maybe I should try to edit my videos on the iPad Pro, using the LumaFusion application, so much praised by many… Since it is very popular, there are plenty of training videos and other materials on it on the Internet. At the same time, the iPad for me is in no way able to completely replace my PC.
