I just looked up how many ue4 games there are, the list is huge . At the moment i am sticking with the steam pc stuff , there are alot of games i missed on psvr because i was not a fan of the moves and now i can play them on pc.. just looking up all the ue4 games is going to be a full time job.

I just bought a psvr2 headset a few weeks ago and am interested in trying this out. Seems pretty awesome! When you “inject” a game to become VR is that a permanent change where you can no longer do flat screen unless the game is reinstalled? Also when you boot up a game for another play session do the steps need to be repeated or can you just jump into the VR profile you set up the first time? Sorry, very much a noob to this and VR.

Hey! It’s No problem! 😊 1. It is not permanent. You will launch the game and the injector each time. If you don’t inject, the game will be non VR. 2. You will have to inject the game each session, but any UEVR settings you applied will stay for every game and will not have to be changed each time. Hope that helps!

I have tried some demo games & haven't had much luck. I have an i7 9700K & 4060ti video card. I'm only getting around 20 fps (even on all lowest settings) so the games are unplayable :( Any reason you can think of why it's so poor? It plays normal VR games really well with 90-120 fps. I didn't expect it to be fantastic or as good as the normal VR games but I expected it to be better than it is. [Edit] I rewatched your video again & noticed I should change the resolution scale. Mine was still on 100% so I changed it down to 70. With the other settings turned off I was able to get 90 fps. Thanks again.

I wouldn’t buy a 3070 for UEVR, but if I had one, I would certainly try and see what I could get to work. Starting with Spyro Reignited and Crash 4. Newer big AAA games I don’t think would work without making them look terrible.

Hello, on certain sequences (Kena game) I do not have the same colorimetry on the right and left lenses (light sequence coming out of a cave, or at night when it rains). Is the problem known? I play on psvr2

I think you'll need to upgrade. @@paulnicolas172 Yeah, you're good for Native VR, but I'm not so sure about UEVR. It takes pretty much a supercomputer to run it well. Even my setup (5700X3D + RTX 4060ti 8GB) struggles with certain games. You may be able to get away with some older and well optimized games. Unfortunately I don't think I can give you a certain answer other than I don't THINK so, but maybe some exceptions, especially with tinkering some. I would do some more digging maybe in their discord or other threads online to see what you could get away with.

I’ll give it a try anyways as what have I got to lose anyway lol but even if it’s not a good experience there are tons of native or modes be games like Asgard’s wrath which looking at the specs for that game should be good to go anyways I might try GitHub superdepth 3D perhaps as that might run better as far as am aware it used shaders instead to create the depth so it might not be as demanding upon resources perhaps ?

When I try injecting the profile for RoboCop I get a message saying... "UEVRPluginNullifier.dll does not appear to exist! Check if any anti-virus software has deleted the file. Reinstall UEVR if necessary." I then get another message saying... "openvr_api.dll does not appear to exist! Check if any anti-virus software has deleted file. Reinstall UEVR if necessary. I made sure to follow all the steps and white list everything I needed to. Can anyone please help!? 🙏🏾

@@GriminalE13 it sounds like UEVR got deleted by your antivirus software. Make sure you have the UEVR folder whitelisted, and keep UEVR launcher in there. Check your windows protection settings and history, and see step 1 in my video again. If you have a different antivirus software other than windows protection check that one too.

Doesn't openvr run way worse than openxr? Also using openvr in steamvr tanks performance. I wish there was a way to use psvr2 using openxr natively.

The biggest difference I’ve noticed with Open VR is that it doesn’t have the resolution slider, I THINK open VR just uses whatever it’s set to in steam. I use Open VR for Spyro because it’s hard to get it to launch properly otherwise. No performance tanking issues. Everything else I use Open XR for though.

Bro I tried UEVR on my PSVR2 in a Quet place and it looked like crap ran like crap and the positioning of the camera was all out of whacch. But when i did the same with my Quest 3 it was perfect no snowing perfect camera placement so you could look down and see your body but on PSVR 2 you couldn't. Is there a special version for PSVR2 or does it just suck at that one game. It's the only one I tried and it is infinitely better on Quest 3.

Noticing same on System Shock Remake, and Returnal...stuttery, camera wobble on PSVR2-perfect on Quest 3. PSVR2 just doesn't seem to run UEVR well, discord is not offering any tips to fix.

no tutorial includes any problems.. you didnt show how you loaded the game config files to make the game just work when you load it first time. ff7 remake is working for me in vr but the camera is miles off, the bottom 40% of my view is black and the top of the game screen is so far up i cant look that far. how do you load individual game profiles and configs? the 4 .dlls that set everything up for me. where do they go? thumbs down for non complete info.

Hey my dude, that's a new issue that popped up after their latest update. I encountered it recently too. I believe I fixed it by either changing the game setting back to windowed, or by using the uevr menu to toggle the 2D mode on, and then off again and fixed it. I know I did SOMETHING like that to get it working normal again. Hope that helps, and if not remember you can use the discord thread to get help or just ask me here. Are you using the 3DMigoto Loader as well?
